In that moment you’re transitioning from your special blend of exhaustion and exhilaration into the rest of life. Usually you’re covered in water, sweat, sand, mud... Nature at its finest and messiest.

That transitory moment can be very special, maybe the best time of the whole day. It often involves friends, beautiful scenery, and an incredible natural high. But it can also be frustrating if you don’t have the proper gear to clean up. Our gear is thoughtfully designed to make those moments smoother and happier.

Our Founder, Joseph Valentin, with polymer engineer background, passion for the outdoors, and well designed gear. Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Joseph spent his youth windsurfing, riding BMX bikes, and exploring the incredible outdoor scenes around his home. After receiving a B.S. in Plastics and Polymer Engineering from the University of Detroit, he worked for General Electric and Microsoft before launching Sofscape Caribe Inc., a tire recycling company. In 2016 he decided to turn his expertise and attention to his true passion: outdoor adventure, and OnTrackGear was born.

Like the rest of the OnTrack family, Joseph believes in living simply, exploring continuously, surfing only his custom surfboards, giving opportunities to rescued animals, and engineering technologies to improve the environment.
